About Us
Maple Ridge Kennels has been operating since December 1993. We have built our reputation on being dedicated to the safety and well-being of pets in our care.
As of June 2005, Maple Ridge Kennels is under new ownership. Gary is a retired police officer with over 19 years experience as a K-9 Handler with the Groton Town Police Department.
Our facility is an indoor/outdoor style kennel. Your dog will have a roomy inside kennel that provides privacy for eating and sleeping. A doorway opens directly to a large outside run where your dog can see its neighbor while safety separated and enclosed by fencing.
Indoor areas are heated and air conditioned as required to keep your dog comfortable. Outdoor runs are covered for shelter from sun, rain or snow. Whenever temperatures and weather permits, dogs have free access to outdoor runs all day.
Cats are housed individually and apart from the kennel area where they can be monitored and litter boxes kept fresh all day.
Maple Ridge Kennels will provide a tour of our facility upon request during normal business hours.

Saturdays 9:00am - 5:00pm
Sundays 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Closed on major holidays
We have extended hours the day after holidays

Rates and Special Offers
1 dog: $22.00 per day
2 dogs: $34.00 per day
3 dogs: $46.00 per day
We also have a full service grooming salon on site. Grooming available by appointment!

From I95 South - Take Exit 88- Turn Right onto Rte 117- Go 1 1/2 miles turn right onto Rte 184- Go 1/2 mile turn right onto Rogers Rd. Maple Ridge Kennels is the first driveway on the left.
From I 95 North - Take Exit 86 (first exit after Gold Star Bridge on the left side) Stay on Rte 184 approx. 3 miles, turn right onto Rogers Rd.- Maple Ridge Kennels is the first driveway on the left.

What to Bring
Vaccination Records
We require all dogs be vaccinated against DHLPPC (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Corona virus) and Bordetella. You must provide immunization records showing your dog has been vaccinated within one year of the last day your dog will be boarding with us. Cats must be vaccinated against Rhinotracheitis, Calici virus, Panleukopenia, FvRcp and Leukemia. For your convenience, we will make copies of the vaccination and license certificates and keep them on file for future visits.
Medications
Please be sure to bring any medications your pet needs and we'll make sure they are given promptly as required. There is a small fee for administering medications.
Food, Bedding, and Toys
Maple Ridge Kennels provides bedding for your pet's comfort and IAMS dog and cat food. If you prefer, you may bring your own pet's food and bedding. Don't forget to bring along a few toys or treats !
State of Connecticut Requirements
State law requires all dogs and cats over 3 months old to be vaccinated against Rabies. To comply with state laws, the rabies vaccination certificate must be provided to us when your animal arrives for boarding (even if the tags are attached to the animal's collar).
If you are not sure if your pet is up-to-date on all of the vaccinations, please contact your veterinarian's office.

Reservations
Thanks to referrals by our satisfied customers and many area veterinarians, our business has grown steadily and reservations are recommended.
Major holidays reservations will receive a confirmation and may require a deposit.
Extra-large kennels for 2 or more dogs are limited, please reserve space early.
